The "444" line of premium HDMI extenders from AVPro Edge are built to handle full 4K. When we say full 4K that means maxing out the HDMI 2.0 spec; 18Gbps data rate, 4K resolutions, 60 frames per second, 4:4:4 color space with High Dynamic Range and Wide Color Gamut. "444" extenders from AVPro Edge can distribute that high bandwidth signal over a single standard category cable using ICT (learn more below).
Our 444 line of extenders includes 40, 70, and 100M HDMI extenders and our 300M fiber extender, key features include:
18GBPS HDMI EXTENSION USING "ICT"
Category cable's bandwidth is maxed out at 10.2 Gbps, so how do we pass 18Gbps? The answer is "ICT" or Invisible Compression Technology.
ICT is a proprietary compression algorithm we developed by the AVPro team to bypass banding and artifacts you normally get from compressing a video signal. AVPro Edge's sister company Murideo is a display calibration company, so we used the technology we developed in display calibration to ensure you are delivering the most optimized picture you can with any of the "444" HDMI extenders. Depending on the installation, you are sure to find the features you need. Ethernet, power, audio, video, control and USB can all be extended at the same time (USB on the 100 and 40 Plus only). We achieve this using our ICT along side the HDBaseT standard to deliver you the best solution for high bandwidth signals over category cable. Check out the examples below, one without ICT, one with. Pay attention to the artifacts and banding in the example without ICT.
The 444 products also expand into our HDBaseT matrix switchers. Each HDBaseT matrix from AVPro Edge has a "444 Premium" transmitter built in, when you pair that with our "444 RNE" receiver you have full point to point solution for multi-zoned video distribution.
